According to the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units of Tuyen Quang province, Tuyen Quang city will rearrange and merge 15 existing administrative units of Tuyen Quang city and merge 2 communes of Trung Mon, My Bang and 1 village of Thai Binh commune, Yen Son district to establish 5 wards including: My Lam ward; Minh Xuan ward, Nong Tien ward, An Tuong ward and Binh Thuan ward.
Overview of the meeting
Previously, on April 20, 214 villages, hamlets, and people's groups in Tuyen Quang city held a meeting to collect people's opinions on the project to merge Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces into Tuyen Quang province, with the provincial administrative headquarters in Tuyen Quang with a consensus rate of 99.99%. Regarding the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units from 15 administrative units into 5 administrative units, Tuyen Quang city voters agreed with a rate of 99.98%.
At the meeting, 100% of delegates voted to pass resolutions on merging and rearranging administrative units.
