First manuscript workshop of the book History of Tuyen Quang City Party Committee 1940 - 2025
Speaking at the opening of the Workshop, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen emphasized that the organization of the Workshop on the manuscript of the book History of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee 1940 - 2025 aims to continue to supplement, clarify and complete the contents of the manuscript. The book is a scientific work, carried out on the basis of continuation, inheritance and unification with historical documents that have been researched in previously published books on the history of the Town Party Committee to continue writing the historical process of the City Party Committee for the period 2008 - 2025. At the same time, this is also a practical activity to welcome the 21st Congress of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
The book History of Tuyen Quang Town Party Committee (1940-2008) has been completed and published (August 2009). After nearly 20 years since the publication of the History book, the Party Committee, government and people of the city have strived and achieved particularly important achievements, gradually achieving the status of a type III urban area, becoming a city directly under the province in 2010, and achieving the status of a type II urban area in 2021. The city's economy has developed, urban infrastructure has continued to be completed in a synchronous direction, and the urban appearance has become increasingly spacious and modern.
Delegates attending the workshop
The material and spiritual life of the people has changed positively. The book "History of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee (1940-2025)" retains all the content from Chapter I to Chapter VII of the book "History of the Tuyen Quang Town Party Committee (1940-2008), newly compiled from the second half of the 17th Town Party Congress to the 20th City Party Congress, merging the content of the second half of the 17th Town Party Congress into Chapter VII. The following chapters include: Chapter VIII, IX, XX; each chapter corresponds to a Congress term. The book also has an introduction, conclusion, and appendix.
At the Workshop, delegates gave their opinions on the layout and content of the book manuscript. In particular, delegates suggested that the book's Editorial Board research and select prominent events and issues to analyze, clarify, and create a basis for the next generation to continue; consider and select additional appropriate illustrations; summarize the content of lessons learned for the entire period to avoid duplication; highlight and deepen the leadership role of the Party, mobilize the people in the process of developing the city; clarify the unique characteristics, outstanding features, and highlights of the city in 17 years (2008-2025)...
Comrade Ta Duc Tuyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang City Party Committee; Nguyen Dinh Trung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the Workshop.
In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen thanked the delegates for their dedicated and responsible opinions. The Steering Committee and the Book Editorial Board will take into account the opinions and discussions of the delegates for research and further supplementing historical documents and events, thereby serving as a basis for completing the book manuscript before printing and publishing.
