In the period of 2021 - 2024, the whole province has had over 7,000 households newly built and repaired, with a total cost of over 900 billion VND, of which socialized funding accounts for nearly 35%; contributing to reducing the poverty rate from 23.45% in 2021 to 10.19% in 2024, helping households gradually stabilize their lives, contributing to realizing the goal of becoming a fairly developed, comprehensive and sustainable province in the Northern mountainous region by 2025, creating a solid foundation towards the goal of becoming a fairly developed, comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable province with high average income in the Northern Midlands and Mountains by 2030.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga praised and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the province, the Provincial Fatherland Front and relevant agencies and units, who proactively organized the program "Launching Ceremony to Support the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the Province" in the first days of the new year. Responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister, with the goal of "leaving no one behind", Tuyen Quang province is determined to strive to eliminate all temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before September 2, 2025.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga called on agencies, units, organizations, enterprises, philanthropists inside and outside the province, and the people to continue to respond, support in spirit and material, and participate in contributing with the motto "Whoever has something contributes, whoever has merit contributes, whoever has property contributes, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has a little contributes a little", to support the completion of eliminating over 6,000 temporary and dilapidated houses for households in the province in 2025. At the same time, assign the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to provide specific instructions on how to support, closely monitor, ensure the use of support sources for the right purpose, effectively, publicly and transparently, in accordance with legal regulations, and timely support to build houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province. The Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, localities and units to uphold the spirit of responsibility, take drastic actions, and clearly assign people, tasks, time, responsibilities and results during the implementation process. Promote the role and responsibility of leaders in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; ensure the completion of the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses set for 2025. He requested media agencies and newspapers to step up propaganda work, create broad consensus in society so that all people and the business community can support, share and join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, propaganda raises awareness, arouses the spirit of proactiveness, so that each person clearly sees that along with the support and assistance of the State and the community, the decisive factor for the success of the program is the will and determination of each person and poor household supported to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched and called for support for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. With the message "A million loving hearts - A thousand happy roofs", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province launched and called on agencies, units, organizations, enterprises; cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, workers, people from all walks of life inside and outside Tuyen Quang province and Tuyen Quang people abroad with a heart of compassion, to join hands and contribute to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and households of meritorious people in the province. The common level of effort is: Cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, people receiving salaries from the state budget, each person contributes at least one day's salary; workers and laborers contribute at least one day's income; Union members, youth and teenagers save to help at least 50 thousand VND; each household with an average living standard or higher supports at least 100 thousand VND; businesses support the highest level possible. Time of receiving: From January 16 to September 2, 2025.
At the launching ceremony, the Steering Committee received at the provincial bridge point and the bridge points of districts and cities a total amount of 25.5 billion VND from units, businesses and individuals supporting the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Of which, the city bridge point participating in the launching ceremony donated 35 million 900 thousand VND.
