Colour procession from Y La Temple to Ha Temple

On the morning of March 20, that is, 11/2 of the lunar calendar. The Organizing Committee of Huy La Temple Festival organized a Mother Procession from Y La Temple to Ha Temple. This is the main ritual in the Thuong Temple, Ha Temple, and Y La Temple Festivals in 2024. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Viet Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nong Thi Toan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Dinh Dat, Member and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. Along with a large number of people and tourists from all over the world attended.

After conducting the ceremony, the Organizing Committee conducted a procession of Mau through the city center roads to Ha Temple. Along with incense burners, a large number of bronze and religious people in traditional costumes along with flags and flags create a colorful procession in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. Ms. Pham Thi Loan, Phan Thiet ward, excitedly said that the festival not only recreates the traditional rituals in the Mother procession of the people of Tuyen, but also has new colors, showing the spiritual and cultural beauties of the people, rich in humanistic meaning, sacred, lively, etc  with the wish for a prosperous and happy life of people.

Dragon Throne Procession

 Y La Temple was founded in 1743, the 4th year of Canh Hung and was restored at the beginning of the nineteenth century. According to legend, Ha temple worshipped Princess Phuong Dung due to the serious burning of the temple soldiers, the residents had to take the idol to Huy La village to take refuge. In 1817, the 3rd year of Khai Dinh started the reconstruction of Ha temple on the old location but on a larger scale. At that time, at the site of the refuge statue, the villagers of Y La also built the Mau Y La temple to worship Princess Phuong Dung, (who is considered the incarnation of the holy Mother Thuong Thien) along with the gods and spirits in the belief of worshipping Vietnamese Mother. Over many generations, Mau Y La Temple has met and satisfied the spiritual needs of the people in the mountainous region, expressing the aspiration of the residents of wet rice farming thanks to the superpower of the Holy Mother to give a peaceful life, favorable rain and wind,  get a good harvest. Mr. Nguyen Chien Truong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Y La Ward said: In 2016, Y La Temple was recognized as a National Monument, The maintenance and organization of the festival of Ha Temple, Thuong Temple and Y La Temple is not only to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the people of Tuyen Quang city, but the festival is a time for brothers, friends, and tourists near and far to look forward to the roots, give thanks to the Holy Mother and pray for a new year of favorable rain, harmony, peace and happiness, and at the same time contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the locality.

According to the plan, on the morning of March 21 (i.e. the 12th day of the 2nd lunar calendar), the procession of Princess Ngoc Lan from the Upper Temple to the Lower Temple for the two women to meet at the Lower Temple and organize the ceremony, opening the Festival of Ha Temple, Upper Temple, and Y La Temple in 2024.
